Warning: Biggest hacking attack possibility in India.

Indore: Many government agencies, media houses, pharmaceutical companies, telecom operators and a large tire company in India, can become targets of cyber attack by hacking groups with links to China, cyber intelligence firm Cyfirma has published the Dark Web (part of Internet) Search engines) is not indexed by forums.


Cyfirma has informed CERT-In (Computer Emergency Response Team), India's nodal agency for cyber attack, and some companies whose names were on the list. He said, "Our interest was from the list published on these forums. He had names of several Indian companies, media houses, telecom operators and a large tire company. When we started sending the handles publishing these lists back to their sources, we found that they belong to two hacking groups, the Gothic Panda and the Stone Panda, two well-known hacking groups, from the PLA (People's Liberation Army) Are directly affiliated, ”said Kumar Ritesh, President and CEO of Cyfirma.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison told the media that several Australian entities, including the government, political organizations and essential service providers, had been targeted in the past month by a series of state-backed cyber attacks. Australia believes that a rival state has a strong partnership given the scale and form of targeting.

Saifirma founder Kumar Ritesh revealed that discussions have increased in the Chinese hacking communities over the past week on "border conditions and teaching India a lesson".

As for the type of attacks, Ritesh explained, "cyber criminals are looking for vulnerabilities in web applications, data exfiltration, denial of service, importing companies' websites and launching malicious phishing campaigns."

Then what to do to protect?

1. Uninstall this listed app.


2. Use https websites only.



3. Do not open fake mail, and be safe.
